Margot Verhulst is a PhD researcher and teaching assistant at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She holds a BSc in social sciences (2022) and an MSc in sociology (2023). In her doctoral thesis, Margot explores the intricate interplay between social mobility, welfare states and gender. Her research particularly focuses on the role of mothers and child care in intergenerational class transmissions.
